Esto conjunto fue creado por David Weissbrodt de la facultad de derechos de la Universidad de Minnesota para su lectura <<Procedimentos de derechos humanos de las Naciones Unidas>> para los miembros de la facultad de los cursos de los derechos humanos en la Universidad de Minnesota y en las universidades en Antioquia. Contiene tres materiales: (1) un PowerPoint, (2) una transcripción de la presentación, y (3) una grabación de la presentación.
Esta presentación se refiere principalmente a los mecanismos específicos en la ONU que se enfrentan  los derechos humanos internacionales. Ella destaca las normas establecidas en los dos pactos, en la Declaración universal de derechos humanos, y la Carta de la ONU, también otros tratados internacionales. Ella continua con el trabajo de los comités pertinentes de la ONU y las maneras para enfocar en los derechos humanos—individualmente, temáticamente, o de un país específico .

This toolkit was created by David Weissbrodt of the University of Minnesota law school for his lecture “Procedimentos de derechos humanos de las Naciones Unidas” (“Human Rights Proceedings of the United Nations”) for use by faculty members for human rights courses at the University of Minnesota and the four universities in Antioquia. It contains three materials: (1) a PowerPoint, (2): a transcription of the presentation, and (3) a recording of the presentation.
This presentation is primarily concerned with specific mechanisms existing in the United Nations facing international human rights. It highlights established standards in the two covenants, the Declaration on Human Rights and the Charter of the United Nations, as well as other international treaties. It continues by laying forth the work of relevant committees of the United Nations and ways to approach human rights—be it individually, thematically, or country-specific.
